The Malibu Family Smile Fest served as a gathering of vibrant mix of music, family entertainment, education, and philanthropic efforts. This special event provided attendees with a unique opportunity to support children born with cleft conditions, who often encounter social obstacles. This year’s festivities celebrated the transformative impact of Operation Smile, which has positively influenced hundreds of thousands of lives. The organization is now striving to assist one million children within the next decade.
Hosted by Barefoot Dreams and Alpha Pals, the Operation Smile Malibu Family Fest was a resounding success last weekend at the beautiful Malibu estate of TV personality and philanthropist, Brooke Burke. The event boasted an impressive lineup of celebrities and Hollywood elites, including Brooke Burke and Scott Rigsby, Billy Bush, Roma Downey and Mark Burnett, Jennifer and Bert Salke, Sherrie Rose and Stan Cook, and Ali Wise.
Guests of all ages were treated to a day brimming with music, fun, and philanthropy. A highlight of the event was a captivating performance by the talented Macy Gray, whose hits like “I Try” and “You Got a Friend in Me” delighted the audience. The atmosphere was electric as Billy Bush led an enthusiastic auction, successfully raising significant funds to support Operation Smile’s mission to change children’s lives through the gift of a smile.
Actor Chris Hardwick honored Lydia Hearst with the Universal Smile Award for her unwavering commitment to the organization. Lydia shared a touching narrative chronicling her journey from starting in the mailroom at 15 to becoming actively involved in missions, all while looking forward to contributing even more as a mother.
The celebrity-filled event included Amber Rose and her children enjoying the Alpha Pals Kids Zone, where they played with Tonie Boxes. Evan Ross and “Never Have I Ever” star Darren Barnett were spotted at the See’s Candy Bar, savoring peanut chews and toffee clusters, while Tia Carrere socialized with friends at the Tabalipa Wine Co. Rosé Bar. Carmit Bachar from the Pussycat Dolls dazzled the crowd with a surprise performance of “Hot Like Me,” cheered on by Brooke Burke and her daughters, Sierra Sky and Rain Charvet. Sierra Sky also took to the stage, captivating the audience alongside Asa Orbison and siblings Joshua and Jaidyn Triplett. DJ Lezlee kept the energy high throughout the day.
The fest featured a “Taste of Malibu,” showcasing a delightful array of food and beverages from Casamigos Cocktails, Joyburst Hydration Drink, Caliwater, Prince Street Pizza, Irv’s Burgers, Howdy’s, and Tabalipa Wine Bar, providing an indulgent culinary experience for all attendees.
