By Kay Schroeder
HOLLYWOOD(Perfect Skin Today)7/16/16/–This Sweet Tea Shea Butter and Sugar Whipped Body Polish is 90% Natural (not Vegan, contains beeswax), Gluten Free, Paraben and Sulfate Free, and is made in Frisco, Texas.
Hi, Perfectskintoday readers; this was my first time to try a body scrub product. I didn’t know what to expect so I decided to express my observations and experiences using the body’s five senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch.
The first sense to be engaged was smell. As I opened the lid, the sweet aroma (reminiscent of sugar and summer flowers) emanated from the jar. When I scooped out about a tablespoon of the body polish, the texture looked and felt like creamed butter and sugar. Although I didn’t go so far as to taste it, I think it probably would have tasted as sweet as it smelled.
After applying the Sweet Tea Polish to wet skin, I started the scrubbing process. The sugar and peach stone powder granules provided just the right amount of abrasive action to gently exfoliate the skin without producing any redness, dryness or unpleasant tightening effects.
It was time to rinse off the polish with cool water and then dry the skin. This is where the sense of touch proved to be the best indicator of whether this polish delivered what it had promised.
Here are the results: My skin felt well hydrated, supple, and soft. And, much to my surprise, it actually did feel as if it had been polished.
In conclusion, the only sense remaining to talk about is sound. Considering the results achieved as stated above, Sweet Tea Whipped Shea Butter and Sugar Body Polish sounds like the product does indeed live up to its promises and is well worth the $34 investment.
The 13.6 Fl. Oz. U.S. plastic jar retails for $34.
Bye for now.
