Hollywood, CA(Perfect Skin Today)7/2/12/—Masqueology is a fairly new concept created by Beauty Architects, and is a mask based beauty line of treatments created with different ingredients to suit all skin types.
Their first launch was late last year with Advanced 7D Solution, a set of needle free syringes filled with a patented formula that reduces the appearances of wrinkles caused by the dreaded photo aging. It also restores the skin to its original youthful texture thanks to the patented formula that contains 7-Dehydrocholesterol.
Just recently, the company launched ten new facial masks all for a different skin care need. They are the following: Cell renewal, Anti-Aging, Lifting & Firming, Pore Minimizing, Brightening, Antioxidant, Anti-Blemish, Hydrate & Repair, Collagen Hydro Gel and Revitalizing Eye Gel. These sets retail in sets of three in the $24-$36 range.
The product itself is a rayon cellulose single use facial mask that has been saturated with advance multi-functioning ingredients that contour to the face. The three key ingredients in the masks is always something of paramount interest in any review we do, and in this case the Hydrate and Repair Masque contains Caviar extract, Green Algae extract and Brown Algae extract.
Caviar extract is rich in vitamin content with amino acid, iron, copper and cobalt, and Green Algae has 13 different vitamins and 20 amino acids. The Brown Algae is rich in sea minerals and has the highest content of Iodine found in any food group.
The Anti-Blemish Masque has an interesting blend of prime ingredients (some new to this writer) in the Tea Tree Leaf Oil, Pinecone Bud Extract, Hogweed Extract and Aloe Leaf Juice. Each one here does a different task such as soothing and clearance, anti-inflammation, calming and anti-bacterial.
Last but not least of the three we tested is the Anti-Aging Masque with Collagen, Oat Kernel extract, Hydrolized Elastin and the ubiquitous Caviar extract. Of these the interesting one is the Oat Kernel extract which contains saponins and polyphenols (avenacosides A and B, avenacin).
