Philosophy skin care hope & grace initiative annual luncheon partnered with National Alliance on Mental Illness to launch #stigmafree

Los Angeles(Perfect Skin Today)5/24/16/–On Thursday May 19, 2016 as part of National Mental Health Awareness Month of May , Philosophy skin care company’s hope & grace initiative partnered with the National Alliance on Mental Illness(NAMI) to launch #stigmafree campaign, a national effort focused on shattering the stereotypes associated with mental illness.

NAMI is the largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

Chicago Med’s Torrey DeVitto spoke about her challenges and hosted by Rachel McCord to help spread awareness on this initiative.

Torrey DeVitto shared her own heartfelt battles with mental health wellbeing, and help shed light on the more than 450 million people worldwide who suffer from mild to serious mental health issues.

The reception began at 12:30pm and the luncheon program kickoff at 1:00pm at the Estérel restaurant at the Sofitel hotel,

There Torrey spoke about her persons issues that help breakdown the stigma barrier surrounding mental illness in honor of National Mental Health Awareness Month.
