They have been around since 1984, and their products are sold at Whole Foods, Ulta Beauty, The Vitamin Shoppe, and selected other retailers where natural skin care is sold.

All products are parabens free, cruelty-free and vegan and produced in the USA. Sponsors include Special Olympics, Heal the Bay and The Paraguay Project. Recent awards have included the 2013 Whole Foods Magazine Best Skin Care Products, 2013 Delicious Living Best Eye Crème, 2012 Natural Health Best Night Cream w/Evenly Radiant Night Crème and the 2012 Delicious Living Best Facial Skin Care w/the Hydrating Serum.

Call them for a catalogue which is very well itemized, but we got the chance to try out just four of their items-Age Defying Moisturizer SPF 15, Stop Itch, Tea Tree and E Antiseptic Crème and Tea Tree and E Oil.

The Age Defying Moisturizer primary ingredients are Astaxanthin and Green Tea, and others include Aloe and Vitamin E. Orange in color just like an Apricot Moisturizer I have been using it goes on the skin very lightly and has the added bonus of sun Protection. It also contains 4.45% of Odinoxide and 3.92% of Zinc Oxide.

The Stop Itch has prime ingredients of Oats, Chamomile, Evening Primrose and Calendula and provides instant relief for any kind of itching including insect bites, rashes from the heat, poison oak or ivy. It absorbs very quickly thanks to an infusion of peppermint oil which provides the cooling, calming situation.

The Tea Tree Antiseptic Crème comes in a larger jar and the crème is richer than the previous two, and can be used for a variety of concerns including sunburn, skin dryness, dermatitis and even diaper rash for babies. Tea Tree Oil is a powerful anti-fungal fighter, and Vitamin E restores and hydrates. This product can easily be used as a moisturizer substitute.

The Tea Tree Oil has a very strong smell because of the 75% of oil balanced by the 25% of Vitamin E. It is loosely termed as a “medicine kit in a bottle” and can again be used on virtually any skin condition that flares up. The smell is so strong however, probably better however to use in the home than at a night on the town.
